Anonymous, circa 207. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 4.09 g, 10 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet, pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind, X (mark of value). Rev. ROMA (in linear frame) The Dioscuri, each holding spear, on horseback galloping right; above their heads, two stars; below, cornucopiae. Crawford 58/2. RBW 224. Sydenham 216. Nicely toned and struck on a broad flan. Minor spots of horn silver and with a light scratch on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
